Camila + Greg | An Evermore Wedding
Our love story is a somewhat unlikely one. Greg was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada, and myself in Armenia, Colombia. Growing up in different countries, speaking different languages, neither Greg nor I could have envisioned the future we would one day share.
I moved to Canada when I was 8 years old and I met Greg 6 years later while attending Hillcrest High School. Greg asked me to his Senior Prom, and I said yes! However, when I asked Greg to be my boyfriend, he said maybe… Perseverance paid off in the end and we have been together ever since.
10 years later, we were engaged to be married! Initially, we had planned to get married in Cartagena, Colombia. Unfortunately, when the global pandemic struck, we were forced to pivot. This meant planning an entirely new wedding in a matter of months... A tall task, which would have been insurmountable without fantastic vendors like Union Eleven.
Our wedding day was a dream come true! A dream perfectly captured by our photographer Derrick. Greg and I are truly in awe of Derrick’s work. From his artistic vision, to his ability to seemingly be in multiple places at one time, Derrick exceeded all of our expectations for a photographer.
As we reflect on our wedding day, we have so many fond memories and thanks to Union Eleven we these memories will never fade.
