A Le Belvedere Wedding - Kathleen + John
We had the pleasure to photograph and film Kathleen and John’s wedding at Le Belvedere. As you’ll see from the photos below, this couple was an absolute blast, with a terrific sense of humour.
Here’s a little note from Kathleen:
John and I met in Montreal in 2014 playing Australian Rules Football. My friend had tried to convince me to come out to play for months and once I finally did, I met John! We then moved to England in 2015, spent the next couple of years working and travelling before eventually returning to Canada. After many moves and lots of travelling, I knew we were going to end up together!
My favorite memory from our wedding day is hard to choose. It was honestly the best day, from start to finish – so relaxed and fun! I will say that taking a moment to ourselves to see the main room decorated gave us a few minutes to be alone and really let it all sink in.
John and I really enjoyed planning our wedding, we did however get an extra year due to the pandemic. While it is hard, we always came back to the question “is this what we want?” Everyone is understandably so excited about your big day and has opinions and wants, which is totally normal. Just be sure that at the end of the day, the wedding you are having is the one you want!
We decided to work with Union Eleven after meeting with them through a recommendation from our venue. We got really good vibes and really enjoyed the work they had done, especially at Le Belvedere.
