A Stonefields Wedding - Photography and Videography!
Will and I met during medical school. We had heard of each other through mutual friends, but we didn’t officially meet until we were all going out one night in Montreal in 2015. I hopped over a snowbank, lost my high heel shoe, and Will helped me find it. It was our “Cinderella” moment. Although we were out with a group of friends, we spent most of the night talking and dancing with each other. Following that weekend, Will sent me a message telling me that I had “stones” for planning my upcoming solo trip to New Zealand. We continued to talk from that point on and in March of 2019 Will proposed while we were in Jamaica.
As soon as I saw Stonefields, I knew this was the venue we had to get married at. We came across Union Eleven because they were listed as one of their preferred vendors and we were blown away with the work we saw on their website. We did our engagement shoot with Derrick in the fall of 2019 and we had a great time. He was laid back and made us feel comfortable and we loved our photos (he even climbed into a tree to take one)! We knew that we wanted him to be our wedding photographer. We had postponed our September 2020 wedding until September 2021 because of the pandemic. Union Eleven made this process very easy and stress free. When our big day finally arrived, we met Andrew, our videographer, for the first time. He was friendly, easy to work with, and made us feel comfortable.
There are so many amazing memories from our wedding day but one unique memory that stands out for us is the private picnic, complete with champagne and hors d’oeuvres. We were grateful that Derrick and Steve (from Stonefields) coordinated this moment for us.
When we got our wedding photos and videos, we were amazed! Derrick and Andrew did such a fantastic job capturing all our special moments and highlighting the beauty of the venue. We would highly recommend the Union Eleven team!
