With roots dating back more than 200 years, Stonefields has a rich history; one that current owners, Stephanie and Steve Malenfant, are proud of, have honoured and have continued to build on over the years. Pride of ownership is apparent at Stonefields Estate and on top of being two of the kindest, warmest people you’ll ever meet, Stephanie and Steve go above and beyond to treat all their couples (and vendors!) like family and make sure every event runs smoothly. Their experienced team of experts is eager and prepared to bring your wedding vision to life.

Offering two charming outdoor ceremony locations and the recent addition of the Ceremony House - a beautiful indoor space providing a chic decor and tons of natural light - there is a variety of options to choose from for saying your “i do’s”; one sure to please both partners and also accommodate our fickle Canadian weather. As for dinner and dancing the night away, the Loft, an old French country-inspired barn updated with modern amenities, makes for the perfect reception space.

From a photography standpoint, it’s easy to see why we love shooting at Stonefields. With the option of having all wedding related events offered on site, from getting ready in the morning to the final cheers on the dance floor, timelines are more likely to be met, leaving more opportunity for portraits or time for couples to spend with their guests. There is flexibility in how to use the extra time that might otherwise be spent traveling from one event space to the other. Furthermore, there are so many gorgeous backdrops around every corner. Everywhere you look you’re flooded by natural light (a photographer’s dream!) and stunning, lush landscapes. Whether you’re planning a sunny summer wedding, opting for a winter wonderland, or something in between, this property always looks great, rain or shine.
