Sophie + Josh | Parliament Hill Engagement | Ottawa, Ontario

Ottawa has had a pretty rainy spring and summer so far. So when I saw the hot sunny forecast for Sophie and Josh's engagement shoot, I was pretty excited! Without a could in the sky, we met up near the Parliament Hill - a location Sophie and Josh had picked.

Knowing that it was tourist season, I was up for the challenge of making them look like we were the only ones there.

With Josh' sense of humour and Sophie's infectious laugh, our shoot just flew by!

We made our way to a quiet little spot at Major's Hill Park that overlooks the Parliament Hill and Ottawa River, where they revealed that this was where Josh had proposed to Sophie.

I loved my afternoon with these two and I can't wait to shoot their wedding!
