A Wedding at the Museum of Nature
STEPHANIE + CHRISTOPHER
Chris and I met in high school 12 years ago! Since then, we have been together despite long distances as we went to different universities, and our jobs led us to be continents apart. Thank goodness for Skype and long distance phone calls! We brought this passion for travel into our wedding with little pieces in the decor but really, we just wanted to have everyone we love in one room together, and that’s exactly what we got.
The day was perfect, even if the weather wasn't. We were supposed to have an outdoor ceremony but there was a 98% chance of rain that day. Our Museum coordinator made the call to move it inside, even when we didn’t want to be the ones to make the decision. Luckily, it stopped raining long enough for us to do our first look and couple’s portraits outside at Lyndon Terrace. Kristin was an absolute trooper, army crawling through the wet grass to make sure she got the perfect shot and rolling with the changes in location and schedule as we tried to beat the weather... and thank goodness! We are absolutely in love with how the pictures turned out and the wet weather meant we had the whole park to ourselves, except for a couple of ducks.
