Amanda + Owen | Engagement Shoot | Ottawa, ON

This winter season, I've had the pleasure of shooting some fun and creative engagement sessions. When I talk with my couples, I try to figure out something different we can do for the shoot. Since the coverage can run for up to two hours, having them hold hands and kiss can only last for so long before you get the same type of photo over and over again. 

With Amanda and Owen we decided to do something a little different. To start off, they brought their dog, and we went for a walk around the city.  I took some photos of the couple and their pug shortly before the couple did a few costume changes, and their unique personalities got to shine through! This couple was fun loving and so much fun to work with.

Whether it's taking photos of your children, your pets, or traditions that mean something to you; it's always nice to add a little something personal to an engagement shoot. Thanks to Amanda and Owen for allowing me to capture what a typical day out might look and feel like for them!  Here are some of my favourite photos.
