Alexandra + Dian | Notre Dame Basilica Wedding
Alexandra and Dian's wedding was the perfect juxtaposition of timeless elegance and modern chic. From the rich interior of the Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica to the striking architecture of the National Gallery of Canada, every detail came together beautifully to the delight of this happy couple. If you've never seen the inside of this cathedral, you're missing out! The endless array of colours, the vaulted ceiling and the intricate carvings that adorn its walls are enough to take your breath away. Of course, surely more than just the basilica took Dian's breath away on his wedding day; Alexandra fit right in with this exquisite backdrop, looking like a modern-day princess in her Monique Lhuillier gown.
The reception took place at the gallery, which boasts impressively high glass ceilings and a notable view of the Canadian Parliament buildings. Beautiful white linens and matching florals decorated the vast reception venue; they mirrored the clean and contemporary feel of the space, all the while adding that same soft richness displayed throughout the rest of the day.
Alexandra and Dian's wedding day was a seamless blend of two very different styles. With the help of their wedding coordinator, this effortlessly beautiful bride and her debonair groom pulled off an event to be remembered!
