A Wedding at the Canadian Museum of History

Ryan and I met in October of 2014 in Ottawa’s Little Italy. We seemed to just click. Our personalities just meshed. Ryan showed me what it was like to be loved and cared for without limits. Following many local adventures and trips abroad that always included a ton of laughs, Ryan proposed in June of 2016. 

After the proposal, we started our search for a professional photographer. This search led us to meeting up with David Johnson at Union 11. We had a great conversation with Davey; both he and U11 made us feel welcome. We knew from that first meeting that he was the one we wanted to have capture our special day. 

Our wedding was a fairy-tale dream come true. It was a full one-day event. Our beautiful day included two ceremonies, a dinner and a big museum party to end the night (early morning ;). The dancing was non-stop and judging by our guests faces, everyone had an amazing time. The months of meticulous planning paid off!

Davey and his assistant were wonderful. They made us feel so comfortable from the morning into the evening. We didn't even notice them much, they blended in so well.

We love our photos and we are so happy we have them to cherish forever.
