A Backyard Wedding Live Stream in Ottawa

Last weekend Anna and Kris were married at a beautiful and intimate ceremony in the backyard of their parents home in Ottawa South. It was threatening rain, so we set our streaming equipment up out of the way, in the garage. We ran with a full set-up for this wedding - three stationary cameras and one wireless camera that’s free to move around. This ads a ton of flexibility to our coverage.

Audio is critical for a livestream and it impacts viewers experience more than video quality. There was no audio system being used on site, so we placed a wireless lavalier mic on the officiant and on Kris to be safe. This ended up being perfect as the officiant decided to stand at the back of the aisle for the entirety of the ceremony, well away from the couple. It’s important to plan for all eventualities that may occur during a live event!
